Theres a family function next month and i have to wear a heavy silk saree, ill be around 6 months by then. Worried about the tightness on my tummy and how to tie it comfortably. Any tips from the ladies who managed sarees with a bump?
Keep the petticoat string loose and below the belly, thats the trick. Dont tuck pleats too tightly. Wear flat slippers with it, not heels, you dont want to trip.
I wore silk sarees for functions even in my 7th month, just tied the petticoat below the bump loosely. My amma helped me drape it so nothing was tight on the tummy. Comfortable and you still look lovely.
