Used to go gym before but stopped totally once I found out. Now im 16 weeks and feeling so lazy and heavy, want to move a little. What kind of exercise is safe na, anyone doing something light at home? pls share.
My mother-in-law told me to just rest, but my doctor encouraged me to stay active. I did gentle walking and basic stretching after my doctor gave the green signal.
I personally did light walking for 30 minutes morning and evening, which really helped with my back pain. Some of my friends did online prenatal yoga classes, but I felt most comfortable just sticking to walking.
Beta, don't lift any heavy buckets or do sudden bending. Just do light walking in the courtyard or park and some easy household chores if you feel active. Keep drinking water.
I'm actually planning to conceive soon and also wondering about this! Is it better to start prenatal yoga beforehand, or should we only start walking after getting a positive test?
