I have my first scan coming up next week and im a little nervous since its my first time. Will they do it on the tummy or some other way? just want to know what to expect so i dont panic there.
I felt so nervous for my first scan but it was nothing, just cold gel on the tummy and a probe. Seeing that little heartbeat made me cry honestly. It's quick and doesnt hurt at all.
In early weeks they often do a transvaginal scan since the baby is tiny, later it's the usual gel on belly type. My doc explained it's just sound waves, totally safe and painless. They check baby's heartbeat, growth and position.
I have my anomaly scan coming up and I'm a bit nervous. So it's just the gel on belly one at this stage right? Did you all feel anything during it or is it really painless na?
