We are newly married and started planning, but I honestly dont know how to track fertile days properly. My periods are mostly regular. What should we keep in mind while trying?
We are also trying since a couple of months and honestly I was so clueless at first. From what I learnt, knowing your fertile/ovulation window helps a lot. A check up with a gynac before planning also gave us confidence.
For many it happens naturally with timing around ovulation and good health. For us it took longer and we needed help, and that is completely okay too. If it doesnt happen in some months, please see a doctor without feeling bad, they guide you gently.
Track your cycle and figure your ovulation days, that is when chances are highest. Stay healthy, start folic acid (ask doc), and dont overthink each month. If a year passes without luck, then see a fertility specialist.
Because of my PCOS my cycles were irregular so tracking ovulation was tricky and I needed my doctor's help to conceive. So if your periods are not regular, dont keep waiting alone, get a check up early. Everyone's path is a bit different.
We tracked my ovulation days using a simple app and that helped us time things. It took us a few months so dont stress if it doesnt happen instantly. Eating well and reducing stress also matters, that is what worked for us.
Take care of your health, stay positive and dont let the monthly pressure get to you, it really affects things. We focused on good food and calm minds. And a doctor visit to plan properly is always wise.
