Everyone keeps asking which month im in and honestly i get confused every time. The doctor counts in weeks but family asks in months. How do u actually convert and count it properly?
Dont worry too much about the exact month dear. The doctor and your scan will tell you the correct week every visit. Just focus on resting and eating well.
My doctor counts it from the first day of my last period, not from conception. She explained pregnancy is about 40 weeks which is roughly 9 months plus a little. That is why your dates feel about two weeks ahead of when you actually conceived.
I just put my last period date in a pregnancy app and it counts weeks and months automatically. Saves all the confusion actually. It even tells you which trimester you are in.
Haan it is always from last period na, not from the day you got the news. My MIL kept counting from missed period and we used to argue lightly. Doctor settled it, last period date is the right one.
I got so confused with this in the start honestly. The app said one month but my mom counted differently. Did anyone else get confused between weeks and months too?
Doctors go by weeks more than months, that is the easiest way to track. Roughly every 4 weeks is one month. So 12 weeks means you are done with three months.
