Usually counting is done from your LMP, but please ask your gynac during the scan. Only your doctor can confirm the exact gestational age based on baby's size. Don't rely blindly on apps.
Oh god, this was so confusing for me initially! It actually starts from the first day of your last period (LMP), not from the day you conceived. I kept re-calculating on three different sites because I was so worried about matching baby's growth.
Dekho, it's very simple. Just count from the first day of your last period, that is week 1. Even if conception happened later, medical science counts it like this only, so don't get confused.
Pehle toh check your last period date, counting begins from that day itself. Since I had GD, counting weeks was super important to track my sugar tests. Doc will tell you exact week when you go for your ultrasound.
Honestly, I never got the math during my pregnancy! My doc said count from last period date and I just nodded. Now my baby is here and I still can't calculate baby weeks properly haha, too tired!
