Im 33 weeks and this is my first so I keep wondering how I'll even know when my water breaks. Is it like a big gush or just a slow trickle? thoda nervous about not recognising it in time.
Mine never broke on its own, I had a planned c-section so I cant say from experience. But my sister said hers felt like a sudden warm gush. Whatever way it happens, just inform your doctor right away.
For me it wasnt the big gush like in movies, it was more of a slow trickle that I wasnt even sure about at first. Everyone is different. The moment u think your water broke, call your hospital, they will tell u to come in.
Dont worry beta, when it happens you will sense something is different. Sometimes its a small leak, sometimes more. Keep a pad on near your due date and just call the doctor when u notice it. You wont miss it.
This is the one thing I keep worrying about, how will I even know its water and not something else. Reading that it can be a slow leak actually helps. Does everyone feel scared about missing it like me?
It can be a gush or a slow leak, both happen. First time mine was a trickle, second time a proper gush. Note the colour and time and head to the hospital. If the fluid is greenish or u feel less movement, tell them immediately.
