I checked my pulse and it showed around 120 which felt a bit high to me. Im in second trimester. Got little worried so wanted to ask, is this fine during pregnancy or no? pls share if anyone had similar.
My heart races sometimes too and it scares me a little. I asked my doctor and she said mild increase is normal in pregnancy. Did anyone else feel their heart beating faster than usual?
If you mean your own heart rate, it can go a bit higher in pregnancy because blood volume increases, so 120 can happen during activity. If you mean baby's heartbeat on scan, that is on the lower normal side and your doctor watches it. Either way let your gynac confirm what it is in your case.
A faster pulse is pretty common, mine went up too especially after climbing stairs. But if you also feel breathless, chest pain or dizzy along with it, dont ignore, call your doctor. Otherwise mention it at your next visit.
