Checked my BP at home and it showed 130/90, got a little nervous. Im around 28 weeks. Planning to tell my gynac at next visit but wanted to ask, is this number something to worry about?
I completely understand how scary seeing these numbers can be, I used to panic at the BP machine! 90 is a bit high, so please message your doctor to let them know and help calm your mind.
A diastolic reading of 90 is considered borderline high during pregnancy. It is highly recommended to check with your gynac, as they might want you to monitor it regularly to rule out gestational hypertension.
My BP went up to 130/95 towards the end of my pregnancy, which is why my doctor suggested a scheduled C-section for safety. Please monitor it closely and keep your doctor informed.
I had similar borderline readings around my third trimester. Try not to panic, but do keep a daily log and show it to your doctor during your next visit.
