We really want to do a 3d scan to see baby's face properly, everyone is so excited. But mummy ji said too many scans are not good. Is the 3d one safe to get done, anyone did it?
My doctor said 3D scans use the same ultrasound waves as normal scans, so it is considered safe when done by a trained person. She just said dont do too many extra ones only for photos. We did one and seeing the baby's face was so special.
I felt so emotional seeing my baby's little face on the 3D scan, I actually cried. My gynac said it was safe and recommended the timing. Such a beautiful memory.
I did 3D in both pregnancies, totally fine. Its the same sound wave tech, no radiation. Just dont go overboard getting it done every visit for cute pics.
