Got two faint pink lines this morning on the home kit and im honestly shaking. We've been trying for a while so part of me cant believe it yet. Can these ever be wrong or false positive?
During my IVF journey I learnt that some fertility injections can show a false positive for a few days. So if youre on any such treatment, do tell your doctor and confirm with a blood test before celebrating fully.
A positive is almost always correct, false positives are rare. Its the false negatives that happen more when you test too early. To be fully sure get a blood beta hcg test, that confirms it.
My gynac said home kits are quite accurate when used after a missed period and with morning urine. A faint line still counts as positive. She always asks to come for a blood test and scan to be certain.
I took 3 tests because I didnt believe the first one, all positive haha. Did anyone else also keep retesting? Then the doctor confirmed with blood test.
