I couldnt wait till morning and tested at like 10pm after a long day, it showed faint positive. Now im doubting myself, is the night result even reliable or should i redo tomorrow morning?
Most kits say first morning urine for best accuracy because hcg builds up overnight. I'd avoid drinking too much water before any test. If you want certainty, a beta hcg blood test isn't affected by time of day.
It can work at night but morning is more reliable because urine is concentrated then, more hcg. At night if you've had lots of water it can dilute and show faint or negative. If testing at night, retest in the morning to be sure.
I tested at night once out of impatience and got a faint line, then morning test was clearer. So night isn't wrong but morning gives a stronger result, especially in early days.
Honestly if you're already a few weeks late, night test is usually fine. It's mainly early testing where morning matters. Either way, confirm with a blood test through ur doctor.
