Period is 4 din late and I keep getting this mild pulling type pain in lower pet. Not sure if its PMS or something else. Anyone felt abdomen pain before they found out they were pregnant?
I recently delivered my baby girl and I vividly remember having mild lower belly pains in the first few weeks. It felt like period cramps but my doctor said it's just the uterus growing. If the pain gets sharp or severe, please get it checked immediately.
Mild discomfort is quite common, but any sharp or severe abdominal pain should be reported to your doctor. I always called my premium hospital's 24/7 care helpline whenever I had even minor pain, and the doctors there were super reassuring. Definitely ask your medical team clearly.
For me, the abdominal pain was sometimes just gas because of my crazy pani puri cravings! But seriously, mild stretching is normal as the baby grows. Just keep an eye on it and maybe eat light, easily digestible food for a few days.
I had such terrible morning sickness and mild pelvic cramps too in the beginning. Honestly, pregnancy puts our bodies through so much. Drink lots of water, rest, and if you feel severe pain or see spotting, call your gynac right away.
Mild cramping can be normal as the uterus stretches, but don't ignore it. I suggest keeping a budget aside for basic blood tests and early scans to be safe. We planned our hospital funds early so we wouldn't feel the pinch of these unexpected doctor visits.
Uterus is expanding like a balloon so thoda pain is expected, but no need to panic! Just think of it as your baby remodeling their 1BHK apartment inside you. Just take rest and let the husband do all the work!
