Was having bad acidity and someone at ghar gave me aciloc rd, but now im worried since im 12 weeks pregnant. Havent taken it yet, just want to know if anyone used it. Will def ask my gynac also.
Actually, Aciloc RD has domperidone which isn't always the first choice during pregnancy unless prescribed. Tell your doctor about your acidity, they usually suggest safer options like simple gelusil or pantocid.
When I checked my pregnancy app's medicine tracker, it flagged Aciloc RD as something that needs a strict doctor's green light. It's much safer to just call your doctor and ask for a pregnancy-safe alternative.
For any medicine, even acidity ones, I always messaged my doctor. Since I was already taking thyroid pills, we had to be very careful with acidity tablet timings. Better to check with your gynac.
I had terrible acidity last month before my delivery and my doctor specifically prescribed a different safe antacid. Please don't take Aciloc RD on your own. Always run it by your gynac first.
Acidity can be so painful during these months, I totally get it. But please avoid taking Aciloc RD without your doctor's advice. Try drinking cold milk or coconut water for instant relief instead.
