My face has broken out really bad this week and my period is due in a couple days. but we are also trying to conceive so im not sure if its just pms or something more. anyone able to tell the difference?
Honestly acne can be both, it's all hormones. So on its own it cant tell you which one. If your period is late along with the breakout, take a test, that's the only way to know for sure.
With PCOS I got acne around so many times that I really cant rely on it as a sign. It's hard to tell pregnancy and PMS apart by skin alone. I'd say wait for the period and test rather than guessing from acne.
I felt my skin go crazy in early pregnancy, breakouts everywhere. But I used to get acne before periods too, so honestly it wasnt the deciding clue for me. The missed period and test were what confirmed it.

Actually acne dono me ho sakta hai yaar, hormones ka chakkar hai. So it wont clearly tell you which. Period miss ho raha hai toh ek test le lo, that's the simplest way to be sure.
