I ate noodles outside and later realised it may have ajinomoto. Now I am feeling guilty and worried because I am 14 weeks. Do you avoid Chinese food fully during pregnancy?
Honestly during both my pregnancies i just cut down outside chinese food coz of ajinomoto and all the maida. Once in a while is not going to cause harm, but daily nahi. Home cooked fresh is always the safer bet right now.
Ajinomoto (MSG) in normal small amounts in food is generally considered okay, but most of us just avoid it during pregnancy to be safe. The bigger issue is it usually comes with very salty oily restaurant food. I'd say limit it and ask your gynac if you really want clarity.
I love my hakka noodles so this was my exact question lol. I just made the homemade version without ajinomoto and it was honestly fine. Occasional outside food wont harm but i wouldnt make it a regular thing during these months.
Cant say whats officially safe or not, but i personally just stayed away from it the whole time. Felt better eating simple ghar ka khana. If you have a craving maybe just have a little and move on.
Actually yaar i had the same craving. I just asked my doc and she said thoda chalta hai but dont overdo, mostly coz of the salt and the heavy food it comes with. So i had it once in a while and that was that.
