I've been trying to include more healthy nuts in my diet. I was wondering if akhrot (walnuts) are good to eat during pregnancy? Are there any specific benefits or precautions I should know about?
I'm currently planning to conceive and have started adding akhrot to my daily routine along with almonds. I heard they are rich in omega-3 which is great for preparation. Do you guys soak them or eat them raw?
Akhrot is excellent for baby's brain development, but since I had a miscarriage earlier, I was very careful about the quantity. I only ate 2 soaked walnuts a day, as soaking makes them easier to digest and reduces heat. Please don't overeat them, moderation is key.
As a working mom, I had no time for fancy meal preps, so I kept a small box of walnuts and almonds right at my office desk. It was my go-to 4 PM snack when hunger pangs hit. Super easy, healthy, and keeps you full during meetings.
Actually walnuts are super food during pregnancy yaar! My doc told me they are great for baby's brain. I used to chop them and put them on my morning oats or just eat them directly. Definitely add them to your daily diet!
Akhrot is very good but buying loose ones from local wholesale shops is much cheaper than those fancy packaged brands. I used to buy a half kg pack, store it in the fridge so it doesn't get spoiled, and eat two daily. It's a very simple and affordable way to get your healthy fats.
Walnuts are wonderful for the baby, it's amazing how they look exactly like a little brain! Eat them with a happy and positive mind every morning. May God bless you and your baby with good health.
