Regular milk has been making me feel a little nauseous lately so i switched to almond milk. Now im wondering if it actually gives the same nutrition for baby or if im just having flavoured water haha. Pls share if any of u had it.
Honestly almond milk is pricey na. I just stuck with regular toned milk which gave me more nutrition for less money. If you can afford it and like the taste, no harm though.
Almond milk is fine but remember it has much less protein and calcium than dairy milk. I drank it because I'm slightly lactose sensitive but I also added other calcium sources. Best to confirm your overall calcium with your gynac.
I switched to fortified almond milk and it sat better in my stomach during nausea phase. Just make sure it's the unsweetened fortified kind, the sweetened ones have loads of sugar. Pairing it with my morning walk routine worked well for me.
