I'm pregnant and have been taking amlodipine for a while for my blood pressure. I'm now curious if amlodipine is considered safe to use during pregnancy. Has anyone else had experience with this?
I am also in my second trimester and my BP has been slightly high, which is making me so anxious. Did your doctor specifically prescribe amlodipine to you, or are you just checking? I'm waiting to ask my gynac on my next visit.
Oh dear, high BP means we have to cut down on all the yummy pickles and salty snacks! But jokes apart, please don't take any BP medicine without asking your doctor first. Stay safe!
I panicked so much when my BP went up and my doctor suggested medicines. But please don't worry, doctors know exactly which BP meds are safe during pregnancy. Just talk to your gynac and they will guide you safely.
Beta, BP ki davaiyan khud se kabhi mat lena. Yeh bache ke liye thoda risky ho sakta hai. Apne doctor ke paas jao aur wahi jo likh ke dein, wahi khana. Apni sehat ka dhyan rakho.
Look, BP meds are serious business, especially during pregnancy. Please don't take any advice from online forums for this! Call your gynac immediately and let them prescribe what is safe for you and the babies.
I know dealing with high BP along with morning sickness is just exhausting. But please, only take blood pressure medication if your gynecologist has prescribed it after seeing your reports. Never self-medicate during pregnancy.
