Doc gave me this for a throat infection but I forgot to ask properly if its fine being pregnant. Im in my 2nd trimester. A bit nervous taking antibiotics rn, will confirm with my gynac too but wanted to hear your experiences.
It is commonly considered acceptable when a doctor prescribes it, but the dose and need depend on your case. Dont buy it over the counter yourself. A quick gynac consult will sort it out properly.
This antibiotic is often prescribed in pregnancy but only by a doctor, never on your own. I took an antibiotic during mine but exactly as my gynac directed. Please dont self medicate, let your doctor decide and dose it.
