A doctor prescribed this for an infection but i forgot to mention i might be pregnant at that time. Now im second guessing taking it. Im going to confirm with my gynac before having it, just wanted to know if anyone was given the same.
Some antibiotics are considered okay in pregnancy and some are avoided, and only your doctor knows which applies to you and your trimester. My doctor was very particular about which one and what dose she gave me. Dont take 500mg or any dose without a doctor prescribing it specifically.

Beta dont take any antibiotic without your doctor, this is important. If someone suggested it or you have leftover medicine at home, please dont. Ring your gynac, tell them whats wrong, and take only what they prescribe for you.
Please do not take any antibiotic on your own in pregnancy, not even a common one. I was prescribed antibiotics during mine but only by my doctor with the right dose for my stage. Antibiotics need a prescription, call your gynac and let them decide, dont self start.
