My period is 4 days late and ive been getting some white discharge for the past week. Trying to read too much into every little thing honestly. Does this actually mean anything or am i just overthinking?
My doctor said mild milky white discharge can increase in pregnancy due to hormones, but it is common otherwise too. So it cannot confirm anything by itself. She told me to flag it only if it changes colour, smells or causes itching.
I noticed more white discharge early in my pregnancy, so it can be a sign but not always. I only confirmed once I tested after my missed period. Is your discharge normal or itchy? If itchy, get it checked.
Some increase in white discharge can happen in pregnancy but it also happens in a normal cycle, so on its own it is not a sure sign. If your period is late, just take a test. Watch only if it smells bad or itches, then see a doctor.
