My periods were irregular before and someone suggested this, but now I may be pregnant so I am not sure. I dont want to take anything without asking gynac. Has anyone been told to avoid or use it?
I'd be careful here. Ashokarishta is usually used for periods and uterine stuff, not really a pregnancy tonic. Please dont take any ayurvedic medicine in pregnancy without asking ur gynac first, some have effects on the uterus.
I used to take such tonics before pregnancy for cycle issues, but once pregnant I stopped everything and asked my doctor before anything. Please run this by ur gynac before taking, dont risk it.
Honestly I wouldnt assume any arishta is safe in pregnancy just because its herbal. Best to ask ur gynac or even an ayurvedic doctor who knows ur pregnancy. Dont start it on ur own.
Beta this one I would not take during pregnancy on my own. It's normally given for other issues. Even ayurvedic things should be cleared by ur doctor when u are expecting, dont just go by what someone suggests.
