We use astroglide sometimes and now we are actively trying for a baby. Read somewhere that some lubricants are not good when ttc. Is this one fine or should we stop, anyone knows?
Normal Astroglide might not be ideal as it can slow down sperm. There are specific fertility-friendly lubricants available in the market. Hope this helps you on your journey.
Please be very careful with regular lubricants as they can affect sperm movement. It is always safest to ask your gynac about what is safe to use when you are trying to conceive.
Standard lubes like Astroglide are basically like a stop sign for the little swimmers, haha! If you need some help down there, look for fertility-friendly ones like Pre-seed instead. It gives them a smooth ride!
I remember worrying about all these small things when we were trying years ago. Regular Astroglide isn't great for sperm, so we switched to a baby-friendly lubricant. Now my toddler is running around, so don't worry, you will get there!
I totally understand how stressful it is to think about every single product you use. Honestly, regular lubes can hinder sperm motility. It's better to look for TTC-safe lubes to give yourself peace of mind.
