I have bad throat and cold since 4-5 days and someone at home suggested this tablet which they had lying around. Im 16 weeks now so i dont want to take anything random without knowing. Did any of u take this in pregnancy, will check with my gynac also before having it.
Honestly any antibiotic during pregnancy should only be taken if your doctor prescribes it for you. They weigh the need against your stage of pregnancy. Please dont self medicate with this, just call your gynac.
Dont take any antibiotic without your doctor saying so, even common ones. There were times I was given safe alternatives in pregnancy. Ring your gynac, they will tell you what is right for you.
I really wouldnt comment on whether a specific medicine is safe, that depends on your case and dose. When I needed an antibiotic in pregnancy, my gynac chose the right one for me. Please dont take it on your own, ask your doctor.
