Is baby oil a safe lubricant when trying to conceive?
We have been trying since few months and someone suggested using lubricant. But im not sure if baby oil is ok or it can affect chances of conceiving? Anyone tried this?
It's completely normal to have so many questions and want to do everything right when trying to conceive. Regarding baby oil, it's generally advised against as it might not be sperm-friendly. To ease your mind and ensure the best chances, consult your doctor. They can recommend specific fertility-safe lubricants.
Honestly, baby oil is not designed for that purpose, and it might not be the best idea when trying to conceive. There are specific fertility-friendly lubricants available in the market that are safer for sperm. If you want a simple solution, just speak to your doctor, they will guide you properly.
Haha, I remember all these questions when we were trying! Honestly, I wouldn't recommend baby oil for that purpose. Just ask your doc, they'll tell you which ones are safe for sperm. Less complicated that way, saves you from overthinking! I'm too tired to think about anything but my next nap now.
Oh, when we were trying, we definitely avoided baby oil. My gynac specifically said that some lubricants can hinder sperm, so it's best to use ones that are labelled 'fertility-friendly' or designed for conception. Always check with your doctor, they know best for your journey.
Most doctors advise against using baby oil or petroleum jelly as a lubricant when trying to conceive. They can actually harm sperm mobility and make conception harder. It's much better to use a fertility-friendly lubricant or simply rely on natural lubrication. Always clarify with your gynac.
From my experience and what I've heard, many regular lubricants, including baby oil, might not be ideal when you're trying to conceive as they can affect sperm. It's better to look for fertility-friendly lubricants specifically designed for TTC, or just ask your gynac for their recommendation. Always better to be safe.
While I didn't use it for conceiving, in general, it's always important to be mindful about what goes into your body. For trying to conceive, it's widely suggested that baby oil might not be sperm-friendly. Best to check with your gynac to ensure everything is optimal for conception. They will have the safest recommendation for you.
