We're trying to conceive since few months and someone mentioned regular lubes might not be good when ttc. We've been using baby oil sometimes and now im worried if that's been a mistake all along. Anyone knows about this?
When we were trying my gynac said some regular lubricants and oils can actually slow down sperm. She suggested a fertility friendly one made for couples trying to conceive. So baby oil isnt really the right choice for that.
I read the same thing while we were planning, that not every lubricant is good for trying. We asked our doctor for a recommendation. Anyone else got a specific one suggested?
Better to ask your gynac which products are safe when trying to conceive. They will point you to the right one. Random oils may not help and could interfere.
