Winters coming and at ghar everyone is making bajra roti now. I really enjoy it but someone said its too garam for pregnancy. Is that true or can i have it normally? thoda confused honestly.
Hey! Bajra is totally fine and actually super nutritious because of the iron and fiber. Don't stress too much about what to eat, just have home-cooked warm meals and you'll be absolutely fine, dear.
I started having bajra rotis recently because wheat was making me feel very bloated. Are you guys also eating it with ghee, or does it cause too much body heat in summer? Would love to know how others are taking it.
Bajra is actually very good and cheap compared to fancy oats! I used to make simple bajra bhakri with a little ghee and curd, which is super healthy and keeps you full for a long time.
I personally ate bajra rotis during my winter pregnancy and it felt really warm and comforting. It also helped with my digestion, but since every body is different, I'd suggest checking how it suits you.
During my consultations at the hospital, the clinical nutritionist recommended incorporating millets like bajra in my daily diet for better iron levels. I'd highly suggest asking your hospital dietician to guide you on the right portion size for your daily meals.
