My MIL made bathua sabzi today and said its very healthy. Im in my 6th month and just want to confirm if its actually good to have in pregnancy. Anyone eating bathua regularly these days?
Bathua? Is that like... a vegetable? Honestly, by the 3rd trimester, I was just eating whatever I could get my hands on. If it's green and healthy, probably fine in small amounts! My brain can't even process food rules anymore, send coffee!
Bathua bahut accha hota hai, beta. Hamare ghar mein toh sab khate hain sardiyon mein. Vitamins aur minerals hote hain isme. Bas dyan rakho ki achhe se dhoya hua ho aur jyada nahi khana, thoda thoda hi.
Haan na, bathua bahut nutritious hota hai, especially iron ke liye. But like everything, moderation mein achha hai. Apne gynac se bhi ek baar pooch lo, har pregnancy alag hoti hai na.
Oh my God, I remember panicking about every single food item! Bathua is generally considered really healthy, full of iron and fiber. Unless your doctor has specifically told you to avoid it, a moderate amount cooked well should be absolutely fine. Don't worry like I did!
Bathua is pretty good, actually, lot of greens. With twins, you need all the nutrition you can get! Just make sure it's super clean and cooked properly. Don't go overboard, but adding it to your daal or roti is a good way to get those vitamins.
Bathua is known to be nutritious, especially rich in iron. However, for any specific food items, it's always best to ask your doctor directly, especially when you have other health conditions like thyroid. They can give you the most accurate and safe advice for your individual case.
