My MIL keeps making me beetroot juice saying it's good for blood. I do feel a bit low on energy these days. Im 20 weeks. Is it actually beneficial or just a ghar wala myth?
I have heard from my elders that beetroot juice is excellent for improving hemoglobin levels. I am trying to conceive and started drinking it weekly, it's very healthy and natural.
It is very good and safe during pregnancy as it helps with iron and folate. Just try to make it fresh at home rather than buying from outside stalls to avoid any stomach infections.
Honestly, I survived on beetroot and carrot juices during my days! It definitely kept my iron levels up, though now I'm too sleep-deprived to even make juice for myself, haha. Go for it, it's great!
My toddler loves beetroot now because I drank so much of its juice during my pregnancy! It's fantastic for keeping your blood count high naturally, just make sure to wash and peel it properly before juicing.
