We are trying since few months and my tummy mein thoda extra fat hai. My MIL keeps saying weight kam karo first. Does belly fat actually matter for conceiving ya it's just a myth? pls share.
I had some belly fat before conceiving and ended up having a C-section later on. The recovery was a bit slow because of the extra weight around my tummy, but conceiving wasn't an issue for me. Just try to stay active and eat healthy.
Beta, little bit of weight is very normal in our families, don't worry. Just try to have some warm water with lemon in the morning and eat fresh ghar pe cooked food. Keep your mind calm and trust Bhagwan, everything will happen at the right time.
I can only share my own journey, but I had quite a bit of tummy fat when we started planning. Honestly, it took us about 6 months, but I conceived naturally without any major issues. Every body is different though!
When we were planning, I asked the senior consultant at Cloudnine about this. She explained that weight can affect ovulation sometimes, but it's not always a barrier. They did some basic blood tests first, so I highly suggest you book a proper pre-conception checkup there.
Honestly, with long office hours, I barely had time to work out and had quite some belly fat. We just tracked my ovulation days using an app and it happened in the 3rd month. Don't stress too much about the weight, just focus on basic fitness.
