I bought strawberries and blueberries because I am bored of apple and banana. They taste nice but are expensive, so I want to know if they are actually okay and worth adding. Did you eat berries?
Berries were actually one of my safer fruit choices when I had gestational diabetes, lower sugar than mango and such. Still I kept portions moderate and checked with my doctor. For most women they're a healthy snack, just wash properly.
Yes berries are great, full of vitamin C and antioxidants and not too sugary. I added a handful to my breakfast through pregnancy. Just wash them really well, and as always whatever diet plan you follow, run it by your doctor.
They are very good da, lots of vitamins and fibre. We didnt get them much when I was younger but my daughter ate them through her pregnancy. Just rinse well in clean water, and your doctor can guide on overall diet.
They're good but berries can be pricey here yaar. If they're too costly, oranges, guava and pomegranate give similar goodness for less. Eat fruits in season, your wallet and the baby both stay happy.
