I add kali mirch to my soup and tea quite a bit, specially now with the cold weather. Suddenly got doubt if too much of it is okay in pregnancy. Anyone know about this?
We use pepper a lot in our cooking and I never had any issue. My amma even made pepper rasam when I had a cold. As a cooking spice it's lovely, just keep it moderate.
When I had nausea too much spice made it worse, so I just kept pepper light. It's not harmful, just listen to your stomach. A pinch in food is no problem at all.
Not bad at all beta, a little kali mirch in food is actually good for cold and digestion. We always added a pinch in soups and rasam. Just dont eat it in huge amounts, normal cooking quantity is perfectly fine.
Black pepper as a normal spice in your food is totally safe, I used it throughout. The myth that spices cause problems is mostly exaggerated. Only if you have bad acidity, go a bit easy, that's all.
