Im around 6 weeks and saw some light spotting today, got really scared and my heart sank. Planning to call my gynac first thing tomorrow. Just wanted to know from others if some bleeding can happen early on?
I am very careful talking about this because of my own loss. A little spotting was fine for me later, but please always get any bleeding checked by your doctor for your peace of mind. You deserve to feel safe.
Light spotting can happen and is often harmless, but I would never ignore bleeding in early pregnancy. I had bleeding and it needed a scan and rest. Please call your gynac if you see any bleeding, dont wait it out.
My doc explained that some light spotting can occur when the embryo implants and is usually okay. But heavier bleeding or bleeding with pain needs to be checked right away. When in doubt, always ring your doctor.
