I have bp issues from before pregnancy and was already on a tablet. Now that im 8 weeks im worried whether continuing it is safe for baby. I will ask my doctor at next visit but wanted to hear from others on bp meds too.
Honestly this is not a forum decision yaar. BP in pregnancy needs proper monitoring. Whatever you are taking, get it reviewed by your obstetrician asap.
Please do not change or take BP medicine on your own in pregnancy. I had BP issues and my doctor switched me to a pregnancy safe one and monitored me closely. This is one thing you really must do only under doctor guidance.
Some BP medicines are not advised in pregnancy and some are, so the doctor usually adjusts them. Mine explained that controlling BP is important for both me and baby, so never just stop it suddenly either. Always go through your gynac for this.
