Since couple days my whole body feels itchy, especially arms and tummy, no rash visible though. Period is delayed so my mind is going everywhere. is itching something that happens in early pregnancy? anyone experienced this
I felt itchy on my tummy in the later months when skin was stretching, and a good moisturiser helped me a lot. But honestly in early days itching wasnt my sign, the missed period and nausea were.
Beta light itching from dry skin is common, a bit of coconut oil or plain moisturiser soothes it. But if it gets bad or all over, dont just try home things, show the doctor once.
Please be a little careful here. Severe itching especially on palms and soles in later pregnancy can be a liver thing, i was told to report it. So if its strong and constant, ring your gynac, dont brush it off.
Mild itching especially on belly happens later as skin stretches, but its not really an early sign of pregnancy. By itself itching means dry skin more than anything. If its all over and intense though, dont ignore it.
