My lips and hands are getting so dry this winter and I usually reach for boroline. Suddenly thought matlab is it fine to use now? I know its just a cream but better to ask na. anyone using it?
In this 3rd trimester, my skin is as dry as a desert! But I kept my trusty Boroline aside for now because boric acid isn't recommended during pregnancy. I'm just slathering myself in plain old petroleum jelly and looking like a shiny glazed donut.
Boroline contains boric acid, which some doctors suggest avoiding during pregnancy. Just like I was extra cautious about my diet and sugar intake, I avoided Boroline too. Better to stick to pure cold-pressed coconut oil for dry skin, it has zero chemicals.
I totally understand how much we trust Boroline, it has been in our Indian homes for generations! But sweetheart, during pregnancy it's better to avoid it as it has boric acid. Please protect your little miracle and use simple, safe Vaseline instead.
Listen, dear, Boroline has boric acid which is not considered safe for the baby during pregnancy [1.1.5]. Don't worry if you've already used it a little, but please switch to pure olive oil or plain Vaseline from today. Your safety and the baby's health come first.
We all love Boroline for dry skin, but during my pregnancy, I chose to avoid it because of its ingredients. Staying natural helped me stay positive and healthy throughout my journey. Simple badam oil or ghee works beautifully for dry skin.
I had incredibly dry lips during my pregnancy, especially when I was busy craving spicy food! But I switched from Boroline to organic ghee or simple coconut oil just to be 100% safe. Ghee on lips actually works wonders and is totally edible!
Actually, Boroline contains boric acid so it's generally recommended to avoid it when you're pregnant! 🧴 Better safe than sorry, right? Try using pure cocoa butter or simple Vaseline, they work amazingly well!
