I dont like plain milk at all so i mix bournvita in it to finish my glass. Now my MIL is saying too much chocolate type drink is not good. Is it actually fine during pregnancy or should i stop? pls share.
Ek chammach doodh me milakar peene me koi harj nahi hai na, but din me do-teen baar mat peena. Pregnancy me zyada meetha khane se gestational diabetes ka darr rehta hai. Isse acha kyu na ghar pe thoda kesar aur badam doodh peeyo?
I barely had time to cook fancy healthy snacks during my office hours, so sometimes Bournvita was my quick fix. But let's be realistic, it's mostly sugar. I eventually switched to the sugar-free protein powder my gynac prescribed because it was faster and healthier.
A cup of warm chocolate milk before bed is so comforting! 🥛 Just don't put too many scoops because of the sugar levels. Enjoying it occasionally is completely fine to satisfy those sweet cravings!
I missed my daily chai and coffee so much during pregnancy, so I totally feel you if u are looking for a comforting hot drink. But honestly, keep an eye on the sugar content in Bournvita. Your body is doing so much work right now, so eat what makes u happy but stay mindful of artificial sugar.
Many pregnant women drink Bournvita for taste, but actually, it has a lot of added sugar and very little real nutrition. It's better to ask your doctor for a proper pregnancy protein powder instead. If you want something traditional, plain milk with dry fruit powder is much safer.
I am currently planning my pregnancy and reading up on everything we should avoid. I absolutely love chocolate milk, so I was wondering if Bournvita is totally banned or if a little is okay. Let's see what my doctor says when the time comes.
Beta, packaged drinks have preservatives and chemicals which are not good for the little child. Drink warm cow's milk with a pinch of haldi or home-made badam powder instead. It will give real strength to you and the baby.
I totally understand how those sweet cravings hit you out of nowhere and you just need something comforting. If having a little Bournvita milk makes you feel happy and relaxed, go ahead and have a small cup. Take care of your beautiful soul and your baby.
