I love adding broccoli to my pasta and stir fry but my mom says these foreign veggies are not good during pregnancy and i should stick to desi sabzi. Is there really anything to worry about? im in my second trimester.
Broccoli is great yaar, I sneak it into pasta and stir fry. Only thing, it can cause some gas for a few people so dont overdo a huge plate in one go. Otherwise eat away.
Totally safe and actually really good, full of folate and fibre. Just wash it well and cook it properly, raw veggies can have bacteria. I ate it in soups and sabzi all through both pregnancies.
