Hum dono try kar rahe hai since 6 months and my friend told me to add broccoli and green veggies in diet for better chances. I started eating it almost daily now but not sure if it actually makes any difference. anyone here who conceived after changing their diet?
Honestly, broccoli is great for folic acid, but don't spend too much on fancy veggies if they are costly in your area. Local green leafy veggies are cheaper and do the same job. Better to save that money for the costly pre-conception blood tests.
Broccoli is healthy, but right now in my 3rd trimester, even looking at green veggies makes me tired. I just want simple ghar pe dal rice and some rest for my backache, haha!
Same here, I ate lots of it before getting pregnant! But now in my 2nd trimester, it gives me horrible bloating. Did anyone else face bloating after eating broccoli?
Conceiving is a beautiful but emotional journey, so don't stress too much about single food items. Broccoli is nutritious, but please just focus on a balanced diet and trust your doctor's plan.
Yes, it is very good! Along with eating healthy, I did regular 30 mins walking daily after getting permission from my gynac, which helped me prepare my body to conceive.
Actually, I ate broccoli regularly to manage my insulin levels during my PCOS struggle, and it did help. But don't rely only on this, baby. Keep your patience and follow your doc's advice.
