Running a slight fever since morning and i have calpol at home from before. Im 22 weeks now and dont want to take anything wrong. Has anyone used it during pregnancy?
Calpol is generally considered safe during pregnancy for fever or pain, but don't just self-medicate. Call your gynac first to confirm the correct dosage for your trimester.
Even though many people say Calpol is safe, please do not take any pill without checking with your gynac first. Every pregnancy is different, so safety always comes first.
Paracetamol is safe, but please ask your doctor before taking it, dear. Keep yourself hydrated, take rest, and let the doctor decide the dose if you are unwell.
Calpol is usually what doctors recommend for fever in pregnancy, so don't stress too much! Just send a quick WhatsApp message to your gynac before taking it to be totally safe.
I had a mild fever during my second trimester, and my doctor told me Calpol is fine to take. But don't take it regularly without checking with your doctor, as self-treatment isn't safe.
