Im 11 weeks and having a lot of itching down there, someone at home suggested candid b but im scared to use anything without asking. Will check with my gynac on next visit but wanted to know if anyone used it during pregnancy?
When you have waited so long for this beautiful phase, you want to be extra cautious. I would gently suggest not using this cream until your doctor gives you the go-ahead. Sending you lots of strength, take care.
Beta, doctor se bina pooche koi bhi cream mat lagana abhi. Humare ghar pe toh hamesha kehte hain ki pregnancy mein bina doc ki salah ke koi dawa chuna bhi nahi chahiye. Aap ek baar unse baat kar lo.
Please be very careful with any creams or medicines right now. When I had my loss, I became super cautious. Even for normal itching, my doc told me not to use random OTC creams without asking.
Isn't Candid B a steroid cream? I was reading about it recently while planning, and I think we should definitely check with the gynac first because many OTC creams are not recommended during these months.
Oh God, itching is the absolute worst! But honestly, dont use Candid B without asking your doc first. I once used a random cream while half-asleep and got a major scolding from my gynac!
Candid B contains a steroid component which is usually avoided during pregnancy. My doctor told me that plain clotrimazole cream is much safer for yeast infections, but only if they prescribe it. Better get a clear green light from your gynac.
It's better to avoid self-medicating during this phase. Just like we have to watch every bite of food for sugar levels, we must also check every cream we apply. Ask your gynac for a safe alternative.
