My mom keeps stuffing soaked kaju and almonds in my breakfast every morning saying its good for the baby. I love cashews but worried about eating too much because of the fat. how many is ok in a day? anyone else doing this?
Cashews are healthy but if u have any sugar issues like I did, keep the portion small because dry fruits add up fast. Plain unsalted ones are better. Otherwise totally fine in pregnancy.
Yes cashews are fine and a good source of energy and good fats. I used to keep a small bowl for evening cravings. Just watch the quantity if u have GD or weight concerns, otherwise enjoy them.
We always had cashews in our pregnancy diet, family says it gives strength. I just kept it to a small amount daily and my doctor was happy with my diet. Mix it up with other nuts too.
Beta cashew and other dry fruits are good in pregnancy, my mother always gave us soaked almonds and a few cashews daily. Just dont overdo it, a small handful is enough. Everything in moderation na.
