Im 14 weeks and my mum keeps putting a handful of kaju in my evening snack saying its good for baby. I do love them but not sure how much is too much. Anyone here ate cashew regularly during pregnancy?
Yes cashews are good, they have protein, iron and healthy fats. A small handful a day is great for energy. Just dont overdo the salted or fried ones, plain is better.
Cashews are healthy but a bit higher in carbs than other nuts, so I kept the portion small. For most people a small handful is perfectly fine. Just watch the quantity if you have sugar issues like me.
My family gave me a mix of cashew, almond and walnut every morning. They believe nuts are good for the baby. Just a few cashews a day, not too many because they are rich.
