Is ceftriaxone safe in first trimester of pregnancy?
I had a bad throat infection and the medical store guy gave me an injection with this name before i even knew i was pregnant. Now im around 7 weeks and panicking. Im calling my gynac tomorrow but did anyone take this early, im so worried.
Please dont take any antibiotic on your own in first trimester. Only your gynac should decide this after seeing your case. Call and confirm before taking it.

Some antibiotics are given in pregnancy but always on a doctor's prescription, never self decide. If a doctor wrote it for you specifically then ask them to confirm the dose for pregnancy.
