I had a throat infection and the doc gave me this, but i forgot to clearly ask if its fine since im pregnant. Now im second guessing before taking the first dose. Has anyone been prescribed this during pregnancy?
Dont guess with antibiotics during pregnancy. If you have an infection, your gynac will pick a safe one and the right dose. Call and confirm rather than relying on what worked for someone else.
Some antibiotics are considered safe in pregnancy and doctors do prescribe them when needed, but only the doctor decides which and how much. Never self start an antibiotic. If it was prescribed for you, follow that exactly.
Antibiotics are strictly a doctor's call in pregnancy, please dont take it on your own. I was prescribed one for an infection and my gynac chose a pregnancy safe option specifically. Ring your doctor before taking anything like this.
