My friend who is into healthy stuff told me to start drinking celery juice in the morning. Im in my second trimester. Not sure if its actually good or safe during pregnancy though. anyone been having celery? would love to know.
Celery in normal food amounts is fine, it is hydrating and has fibre. The caution is usually about very large quantities or concentrated celery seed, not the veggie in your salad. I added it to soups, no issue.
Beta a little in your cooking is fine and good for digestion. We never ate it in big amounts though. If you ever take it as some concentrated seed or remedy, better ask your doctor first.
I used celery in my juices and salads during pregnancy and it was fine, kept things light. Just dont go overboard with huge amounts. As food it is healthy, my doctor had no concern.
