ok so im 16 weeks and craving hakka noodles and manchurian so badly its all i think about. but i keep hearing ajinomoto isnt good in pregnancy. is occasional chinese ok or should i fully avoid? someone pls tell.
I used to order it sometimes after work, just from a trusted place not random roadside. Less spice, less sauce. Treat it as a treat not regular and you'll be fine.
Once in a while is fine, don't make it daily. Avoid too much ajinomoto and very oily street stuff. Cook it at home if you can, you control oil and hygiene that way.
Hahn the craving is real, I wanted hakka noodles all the time. I just ate it occasionally and from a clean place. The main thing is the MSG and too much spice, so I went light on those.
When my nausea was bad spicy chinese gave me acidity all night. So I kept it mild and small portion. If it sits well with you and the place is hygienic, occasional is ok.
Occasionally and from a clean kitchen it's ok. The worry is hygiene, raw stuff and heavy MSG. If you have BP or sugar issues ask your doctor as sodium can be high in these.
