Doc gave me some eye drops and when i checked the name it had chloramphenicol. Now im a bit tensed about using it while pregnant. Has anyone used this during pregnancy?
I checked on my pregnancy medicine tracker and Chloramphenicol is listed as risky, especially in the third trimester. Please don't take it. Contact your obstetrician to get a safe antibiotic prescribed.
Oh dear, please do not take any antibiotics like Chloramphenicol without a doctor's prescription during pregnancy. Many antibiotics are not safe for the baby. Better to call your doctor and get a safe alternative.
Please avoid taking this antibiotic on your own. Just like how I had to be super careful with medicines and food during my gestational diabetes, you need to check every drug with your doctor first. Call your clinic today.
Whoa, stop right there! Chloramphenicol is a very strong antibiotic, definitely not something you should pop like candy while pregnant. Call your doc and let them handle the prescription.
I highly advise you to check with your gynac before taking this. Chloramphenicol can have serious side effects during pregnancy, so please do not self-medicate under any circumstances.
Look, do not take this medicine. Chloramphenicol is generally avoided during pregnancy because it can be risky for the baby. Go see your doctor and get a safe pregnancy-friendly medicine instead.
Chloramphenicol can cross the placenta and is linked to complications like gray baby syndrome, especially near delivery. It's strictly a big no unless specifically prescribed by your gynac for a severe infection. Please consult your doctor immediately.
