Someone in my family got prescribed this for malaria and im 8 weeks now wondering if it would be safe in my case. I wont take anything without asking my gynac, just wanted to understand more first.
Honestly I wouldnt guess on a specific medicine like this. When I needed something in early pregnancy I always rang my gynac first. Please dont take it without your doctor confirming for your situation.
Some medicines are weighed on risk vs benefit during pregnancy and a doctor decides that, not us. I'd never self prescribe in the first trimester especially. Please ask your treating doctor directly.
This is one of those that really needs a doctor's call depending on why u need it, like for malaria or something else. Dont decide on your own. Just ring your gynac and they will tell u the right thing.
